BODEGA CR65 vs DR80: does a larger freezer suit your trip?
Buying comparison · Reviewed 2026-10-29 · Exact US product variants
The buying decision
The DR80’s documented double-door layout and larger freezer compartment create a different storage choice from the CR65. Compare freezer requirements and installation space first. The DR80 source has a model/selector capacity discrepancy, so confirm the exact configuration with the supplier.
Choose CR65 when…
Its smaller format and documented compartment split cover the food you carry without using the larger unit’s installation space.
Choose DR80 when…
The larger freezer allocation and separate-door format are useful, and the current installation drawing confirms the unit will fit.

Write down what must remain frozen and for how long. More total volume is only useful when it is allocated to the compartments you need. Compare the supplier’s fridge and freezer figures together with access to both doors.
Confirm the DR80 configuration
The stored supplier details describe an 80L DR80 while a selector uses an 83L label. Check the exact SKU and current dimensions before ordering. The comparison preserves that uncertainty rather than silently treating the figures as interchangeable.
Allow for the complete operating environment
Space behind and around the cabinet, ventilation and ambient temperature affect installation and use. The planning-energy figures are estimates, and neither profile contains a verified compressor start-up value for automatic circuit sizing.
Before placing the order
Save the exact model number, check the current specification and installation instructions, and confirm the selected supplier configuration. Include any mounting, monitoring, cabling or accessories required for your build when comparing the complete cost.
