The Renogy 100Ah Pro is worth considering when you need a compact lithium battery with integrated monitoring and heating, provided its current limits match your loads. This is a specification comparison, with no claim that Roam Wired has tested its capacity or long-term reliability.

UK price and availability

On 21 September 2026, Renogy UK's 100Ah Pro listing displayed £567.99 for SKU RBT12100LFP-BT-UK and an unavailable status. Treat that as a dated listing observation, not a guaranteed checkout price or delivery promise. Confirm stock, VAT, delivery and warranty with the UK seller before planning the installation around it.

The listing describes Bluetooth and self-heating. Renogy also sells Core, Mini and Pro S variants: similar capacity labels do not make their BMS, heating conditions or accessories identical. Save the exact manual and order details rather than using settings from a different Renogy article.

What 100Ah means in a van

A nominal 12.8V × 100Ah battery contains 1,280Wh. With an illustrative 80% energy allowance, that leaves 1,024Wh DC. A 500Wh daily battery demand would use that allowance in about two days, without charging. This is arithmetic using explicit assumptions, not a capacity test.

Current is a separate constraint. A 1,500W AC load at assumed 90% inverter efficiency and 12V loaded battery voltage needs about 139A, before other loads. Compare that with the exact battery's documented continuous and short-duration discharge limits. Do not choose an inverter just because its wattage seems compatible with 100Ah.

Advantages to evaluate

  • Integrated monitoring can make battery status easier to access without adding a separate display.
  • Heating may suit cold-weather charging when its operating conditions and available input power are satisfied.
  • A smaller bank can suit a modest daily load and regular recharging, avoiding unnecessary weight and cost.

Limitations to plan around

  • The advertised capacity does not guarantee support for a large inverter.
  • Heating uses energy and has model-specific activation requirements; it is not permission to ignore charging-temperature limits.
  • Monitoring inside one battery may not replace a calibrated whole-bank shunt, particularly with parallel batteries.
  • A product that is unavailable cannot be treated as a firm build-timeline commitment.

Compare alternatives fairly

Compare the Fogstar Drift specifications, Victron and Fogstar system requirements, and the UK lithium battery comparison. Price the complete installation, including protection, cable, mounting, monitoring and any external BMS. Verify UK support and returns rather than importing US warranty assumptions.

Before ordering

Record the available battery-compartment dimensions, terminal clearance, mounting method, permitted charge current and maximum simultaneous load. Check every charging source's settings against the battery manual. For parallel banks, obtain the manufacturer's permitted arrangement and protection requirements before buying additional units.

Are Renogy lithium batteries good for campervans?

They may be suitable when the exact model meets the design requirements and the seller's support terms meet your needs. A brand-wide verdict cannot replace those checks, and this page does not claim a measured reliability ranking.

Can one 100Ah battery run a large inverter?

Only if its current limits, wiring and protection support the actual demand and surge. Calculate battery-side current separately from stored energy.

Does self-heating solve every winter problem?

No. Check the activation conditions, available charging power and installation temperature range in the exact manual. Keep another charging plan for conditions outside those limits.
